DEVOCEAN DIVERS

Diving is operated by our in-house dive shop, Devocean Divers. They are a 5-Star PADI shop, with years of experience which has earned them respect here as one of the best dive shops in the Philippines. THE DIVING

All dive trips depart and return directly at the resort and include boat trip, weights, tank, and rinsing of the equipment. Tanks (also Nitrox is available) are silently filled at the back of the resort and loaded together with the equipment. All you need to do is roll out of the bed and board the boat waiting in front of the resort! Diveguides are very experienced local divemasters, who know the secrets of Malapascua’s underwater world extremely well. The diving highlight here is the Thresher Shark, which can be found at the dive site, Monad Shoal every morning! This is a unique experience, one that can only be found in Malapascua Island. Aside from the Thresher Sharks, you can find white-tip reef sharks, rays, seahorses, frogfish, and loads of astonishing macro stuff that you didn't even know exists! Diving is generally done in small groups of about four and safety is a priority!

 

COURSES

Courses up to divemaster level can be taken in different languages, including English, French, German, and Dutch. Please ask us for more information on the Divemaster internships which give you a taste of the life of a dive professional. These internships range from 4 weeks to a lifetime - because you never know where it will take you!
