We have a full-service bar and restaurant in Malapascua inside the resort which offers a mix of European, American, and Asian cuisine. If you are a guest staying at Hippocampus, you can put your food and drink orders on your room account until when you check out at which point you can pay everything together. 

In 2017 we hired a consultant to help us transition to a more professional kitchen with better ingredients, and a smaller but more impressive menu.  Not only that, we tore down all the old and brought in the new... literally, we took a sledge hammer to the old kitchen and smashed it to pieces! We invested in all new equipment to help us keep the products fresher for longer, keep us better organized, and to move orders out of the kitchen and to your table much fasterand tasting better! 

Our bar and restaurant are is a huge space, which includes a beer garden space in front of the dive shop where you can take some drinks after your amazing dives during the day. We have a small and cozy bar just nestled next to the beer garden which has the comforting warm feel that a classic bar should have. We also have several tables on the beach that are perfect for taking your breakfast or a candlelight dinner in the evening. Bean bags are placed on the beach at happy hour (4pm) where you can sit back and take in the stunning sunsets. If you would like some peace and quiet, we also have a large restaurant space upstairs as well, which is usually only used for private events or rain nights. 

Our bar has a reputation in Malapscua for being one of the funnest places on the island. We regularly host live music, including solo acoustic artists or full bands. We also host several other special events such as Halloween, Oktoberfest, and other fun theme nights.
